i started this website in 2023 and have been working on it leisurely since then. there are for sure on-and-off periods but i always come back to it. i haven't used traditional social media in probably seven or eight years and don't ever forsee myself returning; i simply have no interest and really dislike the psychological effects of it. i've found a combination of physical media and the indieweb is an infinitely more enjoyable way to operate, personally.

hey there, call me marty. i am 23 y/o, originally from the boston area but currently living in chicago. i have a BFA in art technologies specializing in audio design. currently, i work as a dog swimming instructor (yes, really).

in my spare time, i enjoy video games (i'm a bigtime modder), coding, composing music and entifying digital media-- usually stolen. sometimes, infrequently, i dabble in DJ-ing purely for fun... i am a nerd that generally dislikes clubbing but i love club music. i am a member of an IRL LGBT senior + young-adult joint community collition and would classify it as one of the most rewarding parts of my life. i have a three-legged son and a partner that i love a lot.
